I never had the opportunity to meet Susanna personally, but through Daniel, I feel like I got to know little pieces of who she was through the stories and memories he shared about his mom. It was always so clear how much he loved her and how much those memories meant to him. One that will always stick with me is going to dim sum with Daniel and some friends before Susanna passed. Daniel had shared stories about going to dim sum with his mom, so getting to experience something that held such special memories for him made that day feel even more meaningful. It’s amazing how someone you never had the chance to meet can still leave an impression on you through the people who loved them. I’m grateful I got to know a little piece of Susanna through Daniel, and I know her memory will continue to live on through him and the stories he carries with him. 🤍
