Stella Mary Callander (nee Obyn) passed away peacefully on January 16th after a courageous battle with cancer and dementia.

Stella was born in England on April 28th, 1945 and came to Canada as an infant with her parents Joseph and Ann Obyn for whom she is predeceased by.

Stella is survived by partner Gordon, children Ed (Shawna), Lisa (Jamie), grandchildren Tami, Gabrielle, Jesse and great-granddaughter Lily. 
She is also survived by several honorary grandchildren.

Stella had a huge smile for everyone and loved to laugh as well as make others laugh.  She is greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

A Celebration of Life will take place at St. John The Divine Anglican Church at 21299 River Rd in Maple Ridge on Saturday March 12th at 1pm.

At the request of the family we ask that those who will be attending in person be vaccinated.  There will be a Zoom broadcast for those who are not vaccinated or are out of town.

There will be a reception to follow after the service.
