Ellen, Diana and David,
My Mom and I send our condolences on the loss of your mother. I recently came across the obituary. My parents, Bing and Louise, and I lived with the Brodowski family for a little while on Young Street back in the 60’s and later moved back to Young St not far from your house.

I spent time a lot of time at your place. When you moved to Furby St, I would walk over from Young St. I helped your Mom put pink receipts in numeric order. Thanks to your Mom, I had macaroni and cheese and cabbage rolls for the very first time. They are amongst my favorite foods to this day!

We lost contact when you moved away. Over the years, when we went through the old photo albums, I would think of you all. Your Mom supported my Mom through the early years of marriage and brought clothing for our family. I was the recipient of a burgundy dress with gold buttons, orange collar and cuffs. Loved it!

My Mom and I are forever grateful for your Mom’s help and kindness. We hope you and your families are well and send our regards.

My deepest condolences to you and your family Diana. Your Mum was part of my youth growing up on Sherbrook St. She always welcomed me in your house and made such delicious snacks for us while we did room cards in your living room. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Peace and love to all who grieve the loss of this beautiful soul.
