It is with great sadness that the family of Ross Pipe, 74 of Langley BC announces his passing on January 24, 2023 after a battle with cancer.

Ross was born the middle child to Clifford and Janet Pipe in Vancouver on August 2, 1948. Ross leaves behind his children Clifford (Christina) Pipe, Nicole (Christopher) Thompson, grandchildren Maddison, Sophie, Olive and siblings Richard and Joanne. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Llyod.

Ross worked as a truck driver for over 30 years but he much preferred riding on the two wheels of his Harley.

Ross loved his family with all his heart, always putting them first.  Not only was he a gentleman but Ross lived fearlessly, never hesitating to stand-up for what he believed in.

He had amazing people in his life and loved riding his bike, sharing good times with friends and family.  Ross will be most remembered for his legendary beard and heart of gold.

Riding in the clouds now is an unforgettable man.

At Ross’ request, no service will be held at this time but the family plans on arranging a celebration of life and tribute ride in the summer.

Our family first met Ross and Val when we lived in Brookswood in the later 1970s. We were delighted to find they had also moved to Eagle Heights. We have so many years memories of our families all growing together. Ross was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all.

Our hearts go out to all the family and friends.

Our sincere condolences to the family. Although we haven’t seen him for quite some time we have had the privilege of many dinner and drinks with him at the Kiyon’s. He was always very kind. May he rest in peace.

I’ve known Ross since we were all in our 20’s and have always been very fond of him. He had a huge heart, and was a good friend. He loved his kids and would do anything for them. His laugh and the twinkle in his eyes will not be forgotten. A beautiful man gone too soon.
