Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather whose life was defined by love, dedication, and quiet joy. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley, his sister Maryanne (Don), his brother Wayne (Gail), his daughter Cindy (Pete), and his son Len. He was also a proud grandfather to Holli, Ashley, Akeusia, and Emily, who brought him immense happiness.

Bob shared a deep and lasting love with Shirley. He never missed a chance to compliment her, always making sure she felt cherished and appreciated. Their bond was a true partnership, full of warmth, respect, and affection, and it remained the center of his life.

He had a reflective nature and often spoke about the experiences that shaped him, including his time with the Navy Sea Cadets. Bob found joy in the simple and meaningful things- building model trains, taking train trips across Canada, and spending his days driving school bus, where his steady presence touched many lives.

Family was everything to Bob. He embraced not only his immediate family but also his extended family, including step-children and grandchildren, with open arms and an open heart. He created a sense of belonging wherever he went, and his kindness and gentle spirit made everyone feel like they were truly part of something special. His extended family will always remember his warmth, his stories, and the way he made time for each of them. Bob will be deeply missed by Shirley and all who knew and loved him. His family finds comfort in the memories they shared and in the small, meaningful reminders of him-especially in the sound of a distant train whistle, where they know his spirit will always be near.
