Robert (Bob) Bruce Weatherwax passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 29, 2024 in Maple Ridge, BC at the age of 79 years. 

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Lynda Weatherwax; his parents, Margret McCleary (nee Torrence) and Andrew Weatherwax, as well as a number of dear friends.

In his earlier years, Bob enjoyed a full life, partaking in skydiving, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Robert will be greatly missed by his daughter Erin Weatherwax (Devan) and his grandson Brodie Porter.  He will also be deeply missed by his sisters, Roberta Stitt and Susan (Bill) Ward; as well as his niece, Susan (Mataio) Gardi, along with his cousins and friends.

Bob’s family would like to thank friends, neighbours and family who helped Bob with tasks when he was unable to do so in his final months.

Also a special thank you to Gerry and Debbie Harper, long-time, dear friends of both Bob and Lynda. 

Dad and Mom will be together again, their ashes scattered above BC’s beautiful, vast forests.
