Rae Paterson passed away peacefully at Ridge Meadows Hospital on August 26th with loved ones by his side. He was born on January 1, 1949 in Vancouver, BC. Rae is survived by his wife Sylvia, his daughter Alisa, his sister Audrey, and his brothers Ron and Ernie.
Rae was a respected auto-partsman, a hockey fan and expert solitaire player. He loved old cars and watching boats and planes. He was a generous person and always helped his friends and family in times of need.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to please consider a donation to Alzheimer Society of BC or Canadians for Leading Edge Alzheimer Research (CLEAR) Foundation.

Rae was quite the gentleman,helpful,friendly and knowledgeable. My family have known him for many years and he will be missed. God bless.🙏

I am so very sorry to hear of this news. My condolences to both Sylvia, Alisa and family. Rae was a great neighbour and I could always depend on his help with whatever situation I I had gotten myself into and there were lots of those!
