Con pesar, informamos el fallecimiento de Peter Precep.
Peter fue un hombre de intelecto notable, un filósofo de letras con una profunda apreciación por el pensamiento y la palabra escrita, y a la vez un ingeniero electrónico con una mente dedicada a la lógica y la innovación. Esta combinación inusual de disciplinas reflejó su naturaleza multifacética y su capacidad para navegar entre el mundo de las ideas y la aplicación práctica.
Aunque nuestra relación no fue de gran cercanía, siempre prevaleció un respeto mutuo por su singular trayectoria y sus contribuciones en ambos campos. Más allá de su faceta profesional, recordaremos su profundo amor por sus nietos, Carlos e Isabella, un afecto que iluminaba su vida.
Que descanse en paz.

It is with sadness that we report the passing of Peter Precep.
Peter was a man of remarkable intellect, a philosopher of letters with a deep appreciation for thought and the written word, and at the same time an electronics engineer with a mind dedicated to logic and innovation. This unusual combination of disciplines reflected his multifaceted nature and his ability to navigate between the world of ideas and practical application.
Although our relationship was not one of great closeness, mutual respect for his unique trajectory and contributions in both fields always prevailed. Beyond his professional life, we will remember his deep love for his grandchildren, Carlos and Isabella, an affection that illuminated his life.
May he rest in peace.

I only knew Peter for the final 3 years of his life. Those were difficult years for Peter, complicated by serious health issues and declining cognitive functioning. His one wish was to get better. Being a fiercely independent, private and "do it yourself" man, it was hard for Peter to accept help. He cautiously allowed me into his home and life as a community volunteer.
In spite of his confused and chaotic life, Peter would always be sure to have on a clean shirt, be mannerly and maintain some gentlemanly dignity. Peter liked to share pictures of his family, walk to 7-11 when able and follow global news.
I liked Peter and am richer for having known him. I will always remember him fondly.

Con Profundo Agradecimiento y Respeto
Hoy nos despedimos de un hombre que, a pesar de las complejidades de la vida, dejó una huella imborrable en la mía. Expreso mi agratitud y consideracion por haber sido el padre de mi hija Laryssa.
Recordaré con cariño las experiencias, viajes y el constante aprendizaje de cosas nuevas que compartimos durante los años de nuestro matrimonio. Esos momentos, llenos de vivencias y descubrimientos, forman parte de la historia que construimos juntos y que hoy atesoro.
