On Monday October 10, 2022, Patricia Shirly Bowers (Parisien), peacefully passed away with
her family at her side.

Patricia, 85 was born in Lebret Saskatchewan to Agnes (Klyne) and Leon Parisien. Patricia lived in Saskatchewan, Ontario and moved to BC in 2010.

Patricia was the matriarch of the family. She had extraordinary strength, as even when she fell
ill, she never looked for sympathy. She was focused on living and during her last few months
attended the family reunion and her granddaughter’s wedding giving all her will and energy. She
loved and cherished the family times together, and she adored her grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

Patricia was unknowingly funny with an infectious laugh that left the family laughing for hours.
She loved to sew and quilt and created many beautiful pieces for her family to treasure. She
was an animal lover and always held a very special place in her heart for her dog Honey Bear.
Patricia had a career supporting the family business then moved into Real Estate. Her hobbies
included cooking, reading, curling, fishing, bowling, golfing, gardening, including being a
member of CWL (Catholic Women’s League) and Kinettes. These activities kept her busy and
very active in the community.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, James Bowers in 2009 and her youngest
son Jamie in 2009. Patricia is survived by her children; Ken & Brenda Bowers, Heather and Doug Pascoe, Debra
and Paul Malandrino, Natalie and Monty Smith, her sister Marlene, 10 grandchildren
(Johnathon, Murray, Jenna, Sean, Ian, Natalina, Brittany, Rachael, Joshua and Noah) and 5
great grandchildren (Ruby, Bridget, Chloe, Connor and Oakley).

An exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be
greatly missed but forever remembered for her beautiful, kind hearted and generous nature.
