Pamela Ann Metson (née Scrase)

March 27, 1965 - October 7, 2024

Pam was born in New Westminster, B.C. and grew up in Surrey, B.C. with her mom, Verna, and brother, Mark. In 1988, Pam married John Metson and together they built an amazing life together consisting of 36 years of marriage, three daughters (Amberly, Amanda & Alana) and 5 grandchildren (and counting!). Pam’s family was her joy and her life. She devoted her years to being the best wife, mother, and grandmother she could possibly be. After more than 25 years of living with Multiple Sclerosis, Pam’s struggle and pain is finally over. She is survived by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and brother who will carry on her memory and the love that emanated from her.

It is such a complex thing to lose someone so young but with such a huge burden as fighting MS. She was a warrior always. She was a major influence for me growing up. I spent many weekends with Pam when I was young. I will never forget those times. And as I got older I would show up for a visit and it was like we were never apart
She will be terribly missed by all of her family and extended family❤️❤️

My Dearest Pam
I’m so sorry you endured so much pain in your short life. Hopefully you’re flying with all the other Angels and free of the body that felled you. I’m so happy we made so many memories especially during our younger years. A few more later in life. I’m so glad I visited you a few times before you passed. You were so incredibly strong to make such a hard decision but as you said you weren’t the only one suffering. Until we met again
Love You Forever and Always Liz
