It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom and Best Friend. Mom will be greatly missed by "the kids", son James and his wife Corinna, Daughter Sara and her Husband Bruce, Grandson Christian and his partner Anya. Diane will be missed very much by her Sister in-law, Becky, her Niece Ashley and her Great Niece and Nephew, Michelle and Cole.
Predeceased by her parents George and Muriel Rogers, Brother David Rogers and Niece Carmen Rogers.
Diane was a lover of books and coffee (most recently tea) and ginger ale. She loved Women's History, postcards and teaching Genealogy. Diane always kept busy and was a member of many groups and thrived on learning new things. We are incredibly proud of all of our Mom's accomplishments. Diane will be missed by many.
A very special Thank You to her long time Friends, Cara and Simon. Cara, the blanket made her smile every single day. Also, to all of her friends that reached out and chatted with her. Thank you to the Maple Ridge Home Health Care Team, you all are amazing. You all filled her days with love and care. Thank you to Dr. Yu and all the staff we met at Burnaby General Hospital and to Dr. Kumar and his team at Royal Columbian, your care and compassion was a comfort.
Mom we love you more than Peanut Butter and Chocolate.
Please No Flowers. Instead, in mom's honor, please volunteer at your local seniors Centre, donate to a literacy group or the BC Cancer Foundation or maybe just sit down in your favorite chair and pick up a book to read.

To Diane's family and friends. She will be very missed. She was such a sweet kind woman, and I for one liked her very much. She did my family genealogy...I found out things that I didn't know before. Love and my sincere condolences to all. XOXO
