It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Mike on

February 11, 2018 after unexpected heart complications.

Mike was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario and resided in Maple Ridge, BC.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn, his three sons, Jeff (Lisa) Amy, Nathan, Melissa, Cam & Ally; Ryan (Tamara) Brayden, Brinley & Madison; Glenn (Alisha). Also survived by his Sister-in-law, Heather & Brother-in-law, Lorne Herback of Regina, SK along with their children and grandchildren.

Family was always Mike’s primary focus. He thoroughly enjoyed all the years he committed to coaching his sons’ soccer & baseball teams and most recently attending his grandchildren’s activities.

Mike had a wonderful sense of humour, and a passion for music. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, card games, golfing and watching sports, but most of all family get-togethers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.

A memorial service & celebration of life will be held at the South Bonson Community Centre, 10932 Barnston View Rd. Pitt Meadows, B.C. (Osprey Village) at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 24, 2018.
