With an extremely heavy heart, the family of Mark (“Mega”) Endo, 65 years old, announces his sudden passing on April 20th, 2024, at Langley Memorial Hospital. Upon his departure to paradise, Mark was surrounded with a loving embrace from family and friends.

Mark was the first-born son to Tom and Amy Endo on July 19th, 1958, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is predeceased by his grandparents, sister-in-law Linda, and mother Amy. Mark will be profoundly missed by his father Tom, his brothers Colin (Donna) and Duane (Debbie), daughter Shea (Colby), stepson Robert (Nicole), partner Linda, grandkids Hanna and Jaxson, nieces and nephews Erin, Felishia, Steven, Emma, Scott, Sean, and Lauren, along with numerous beloved friends.

Mark fulfilled many roles in his short but sweet lifetime. He was an exceptional athlete and fisherman, compassionate son, protective brother, nurturing father and grandfather, loyal partner, and cherished friend. The bond Mark had with his daughter, Shea, was monumental. It is a connection that is difficult to put into so many words. Mark was more than a Dad, he was a role model, guardian, best friend, and hero. Shea will forever treasure the many memories of her Dad. Going fishing at Roche lake, jamming to Red Hot Chili Peppers on road trips, seeing him cheer her on at every soccer and rugby game, and watching hockey or baseball. Mark dedicated 27 years of his career as a plumber to Simon Fraser University where his fellow tradesman appreciated his incredible work ethic and sharp mind. He was a proud member of UA Local 170.

A celebration of life will be held in June or July of 2024. Location and exact date to be announced. All will be welcomed.

Mark’s bright smile and magnetic personality will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Rest easy.
