It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Marjorie Patrick. Marjorie is survived by her three children, Todd (Patricia), Shannon (Warren) and Shane (Tammy), and step child Sharon, (Rob), four grandchildren, Brittany, Cole, Montana and Rob and two great grandchildren Keira and Nathan. She was predeceased by both her husband Douglas Patrick and her partner Ralph Wilkie.

Mom’s final journey was in the Laurel Place Hospice, where she was so thankful to have her family by her side daily. We would like to thank the staff who respected her wishes and her dignity and provided her support with compassion on both the oncology unit in the Surrey Memorial Hospital and at the Hospice.

Mom truly loved her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with them. She was intelligent, passionate about her opinions, and had great personal strength. She was a much-loved and caring person who often expressed her love for others through beautiful family meals, hosting celebrations, sharing her passion for reading, thoughtful gifts and many other acts of generosity.

Mom, may you soar with the eagles, alongside Doug, Ralph and all those you loved who passed before you.

Per Marjorie’s wishes, there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name to your local hospice.
