It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marie Gold (79) of Langley, BC on September 20th 2026. Marie was born in British Columbia, Canada on July 10th, 1947 to George and Pearl Taylor. She spent some of her childhood living in Calgary AB but eventually moved back to BC where she lived for the remainder of her life.
She was a very compassionate person and spent the majority of her career working with disabled youth and helping them integrate into society. Marie had a passion for helping others, contributing to the community, and collecting angel figurines and all things angel related.
She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren and a multitude of friends, family and social connections who will dearly miss her.
A service in celebration of Marie's life will be held at 11:00am November 2nd, 2026 at Southridge Fellowship Church in Langley at 22756 48 Ave. All are welcome to attend, if able to, please rsvp to mgoldmemorial@gmail.com.

A life well lived, Marie touched the lives of many, including my own. I was so fortunate to have had the time I had with her, and be a witness to the exceptional positive energy she exuded no matter the circumstance. You are taking a part of me with you, but the beauty is in the parts of you that are now carried with me. Rest in peace.
