We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved Linda. Wife to Bob Bethel, mother to Audrey (Mike), Ron (Kathy), grandmother to Brandon (Kelsey), Brittni, great grandmother to Ella, Alexa, Brielle, and an aunt to many.

Linda peacefully passed with her family by her side on February 14 after a long, fulfilled life. She was a very strong fighter, battling her health challenges until the very end. Linda was loved by many family members and many friends! She loved life and what it had to offer.

She was born in New Westminster B.C., Daughter to Robert and Betty Wallace. Linda met her husband, Bob, when they were young teenagers; spending over 60 years together, just 4 months shy of their 60th wedding anniversary! They settled in North Delta raising their family, Linda working for Super Value Foods. Linda and Bob bought a recreational property in Washington where they spent 40ish years making great family memories and creating life long friendships! When Linda and Bob retired they bought another recreational property in Yuma, Arizona where they spent their winter months, meeting many more friends and enjoying the warm winter weather!

The last years of Linda’s life she enjoyed spending quality time with her great granddaughter Ella, then 30 months later the twins were born, bringing much more joy to her life! As Linda was ailing, her grand babies would come over to visit and it definitely made her day and took her mind off of her situation! Linda was loved by many and she loved all her family and many friends! She will be and is missed by many who new her!

She will be missed and loved forever.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to heart and kidney foundation.

Deepest of condolences Bob, to you, and your family, at this sad time. Linda was a wonderful person. I will always remember her kindness, and generosity, to my family, myself, and too many others. Her wit, humour, and zest for life, was always apparent. She was so much fun, to be around. May your memories Bob, be of all the fun times, you both had together, and wonderful family you raised. Almost 60 years of marriage, is quite an achievement in a lifetime for sure. She will be missed. Sending our thoughts and love to you Bob, and your family. Colin LaRiviere and Family.
