It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Lawrence Paul Yalowica after a courageous battle with cancer.
Larry was born in La Pas, Manitoba but spent most of his life in Maple Ridge where he ran a successful business since 1974. He belonged to the Chamber of Commerce and Order of Eagles, and served the Maple Ridge community through his involvement with the Santa Claus Parade, Food Bank, MADD, and many others.
Larry loved music and would sing for the residents at care homes. This is one of many examples of how he helped others. He will be sadly missed by his wife, family, friends, and all he served throughout his lifetime.

Sad to hear of Larry’s passing! He fought the good fight. And sure gave that darn Cancer a run for its money! He loved people , loved to help. And was generous to a fault! Once when I went to his shop to get Immuno care , he had a friend there and I got to hear him play his guitar his guitar. And sing! He had a great voice! I had no idea…..he was a good hairdresser too! He was a wonderful, caring man!
