In Loving Memory of Kenneth Ronald Kingshott Sr.

Kenneth Ronald Kingshott Sr., born December 2, 1954, at Burnaby General Hospital, passed away on January 8, 2026, at Chilliwack General Hospital after a lengthy stay and a courageous battle against various health issues.

Kenneth was predeceased by his loving parents, Adella and Ron Kingshott. He was also predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Raymond Hernon and Billy Hernon, and by his brother-in-law, Larry Savell.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Kenneth shared nearly 51 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debra Kingshott. Their life together was built on enduring love, commitment, and partnership, creating a strong and lasting foundation for their family.

He was a proud and caring father to his son, Kenny Kingshott, and his daughter, Teresa Kingshott. Kenneth’s greatest joy was being a grandfather to his cherished granddaughter, Courtney Kingshott, who brought endless light and happiness into his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Janice Kingshott and Linda Savell, with whom he shared strong and lasting bonds, and by his brother, David Kingshott. He loved and was loved by his sister-in-law Susan and her husband, Mark Vellios, as well as his sister-in-law Brendalee McKay. Kenneth was especially close to his brother-in-law Mark Vellios. They shared a special bond through their love of wrestling and spent many enjoyable times together attending hockey games. Kenneth truly treasured their time together, and he always appreciated Mark calling to take him out, creating many meaningful memories over the years.

He was also very close to his brother-in-law Joe Burton and cherished the many fishing adventures they shared together.

Kenneth shared many special moments throughout his life with his nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly and who loved him in return.

Kenneth will be remembered for his dedication to those he loved, his steady presence, and the warmth he brought to family gatherings and everyday moments alike. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

We are having your Celebration of life on April 25th.I still cannot believe you have left us.Sierra sure misses you also. We will all be their friends and family. I miss you so much everday,I cannot beleive you are gone.Our life together for 50 years, All the memories that we shared together with all our family & friends seem like so long ago.I do not know how Iam going to go on without you.I loved you so much,Just hope you knew that.Thankyou for all the great times we did have.Being together for as long as we were,Just feels like everyday I get up something is missing.Iam sure we will meet again someday.I will never forget the first time I saw you walkng into a bowling alley in Maple Ridge.I knew then that I loved you.You will never be forgotten.I Love you forever.
