It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelly Delmar French on May 13, 2025, at the age of 73, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 6, 1951, in Mission, British Columbia, Kelly was a man of quiet strength, kindness, and loyalty. He was a proud grandfather, cherished brother, and a loyal friend to many.

Kelly leaves behind his loving daughter, Raquel French (Matt), and his treasured grandchildren, Dryden, Brooklyn, and Charlie, who were the light of his life. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings: Trudi (Steve), Shannon, Heather, Tammy (Leroy), and Joe, as well as his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his dear brother Donny, his mother Corinne (née Daniels), and his father Delmar.

Known for his unmistakable laugh and his generous heart, Kelly found joy in helping others. He dedicated many years as a volunteer at the Friends in Need Food Bank, where his compassion and warmth left a lasting impact.

Kelly’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and service. He will be remembered not only for his deep devotion to his family but also for the kindness he extended to all who knew him.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Friends in Need Food Bank in Kelly’s honor.
