Kaleena Matheson, born on January 6, 1984 in New Westminster, BC, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2023 in Abbotsford, BC.
Kaleena was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. She was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She was a free spirit and had a passion for many things in life.
Kaleena was an amazing mother to her daughter, Adaira. She was always there to cheer her on at her sporting events and was her biggest supporter. She was a creative soul who loved to craft and create special pieces for family and friends. She had a love for the color pink and everything skull related. She also loved to go camping and have bonfires with her family and friends.
Kaleena will be deeply missed by her mother Lynda, father Wayne, sister Desiree, daughter Adaira ,cousin Courtney, and her friends.
Kaleena had requested that no funeral be held. She wanted her friends and family to celebrate her memory of when she was alive. She has requested that she be cremated and placed in a pink urn surrounded by her gems.
At this time in lieu of any flowers for the family, Kaleena had also requested a fund be set up for Adaira for her sports and extra curricular activities. Donations can be made through email at drray85@me.com.

Kaleena was a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed. She was sarcastic and funny and her sense of humour will not be forgotten. We will never forget her beautiful smile.

Oh my, I am deeply saddened to here this news. We had the privilege of our kids to be hockey’ team mates in the past. You were always a friendly face to see around the rink. I will miss talking wth you. rip. You were an amazing mom to your girl❤️❤️❤️

Lynda, Wayne, Adaira, Desiree, and Ryder, my heart is with you all as you say goodbye to the light that was Kaleena. I know she is in good company now, with Grandma and Grandpa, and I'd like to think that Dad and Tara are also with her. May her memory bring you comfort, even as you miss her terribly.
