It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Joanne Brouillette (nee Labelle) on May 4th, 2026, at the age of 74, at her home in Anmore.  Her loving husband was by her side. 

Born April 29th, 1952 in fort William Ontario, she was married to Richard Alan Brouillette.  Although they had no children, they did have plenty of dogs over the years.  She worked as a banker for many years, then came to work with her husband at their business.  Customers really liked her sense of humor and laugh.  Joanne was also an unbelievably good cook. 

Joanne is survived by her sister Dorothy, and brother Lawrence.  She will be deeply missed by family members, including nieces and nephews.  She will be cremated, then taken home to be with her husband.

Her husband, Richard, would like to thank Eagle Ridge and Royal Columbian Hospitals for their care over the three months spent in the hospital.  And a special thank you to the Sasamat Fire Department, the Emergency Health Services, and the home care nurses, for their caring attention to Joanne's health care.
