With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, nana, nannie, sister and dear friend.

Janet Wallden passed away peacefully September 7th, 2022.

Janet was born February 1, 1936 in Jersey Channel Islands to mother Beatrice and father Thomas.

She came to Vancouver, Canada in 1954 aboard the RMS Samaria to marry her true love Barry.

Janet had a passion for dancing, skiing, and diving, but above all, her true passion was spending time with her family.

Her pride and joy were her 4 children, Russell (Cara-Leigh), Trevor, Janine (Darrell), and Mark (Amber). She is also survived by her brother Robin, sister Jeanne, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Janet will be forever remembered for her beautiful and infectious smile and selfless nature. She brought joy to all those around her and will be so dearly missed.

Janet was such a loving and gentle person when she worked with us at Honey Tree. That’s where I met her and learned to appreciate her deep caring a patience. The children adores her. She was warm and kind and always had a personal touch to her interactions with them.
She was so proud of her children and grandkids. She raised amazing humans.
Cheers Janet 🥂 , you really did earn wings already!
Grief is the price we pay for loving.
