Irene Rose Hill (Zuk)

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our Mom and Grandma Irene Rose Hill. She grew up in
Calgary, Alberta and passed away at Ladner, BC, at the age of 92 years with her family by her side.
Irene met her husband Charlie in Calgary. Together they moved to Vancouver and then settled
in Tsawwassen where they raised their family. Mom was very involved in local organizations.
She helped organize the Lower Mainland Girls Ice Hockey Association in the early 70’s and was also
on the executive of Tsawwassen Minor Baseball. Mom owned and operated My Secretary for many years and continued her bookkeeping business at home, only retiring at the age of 90.Irene was predeceased by her parents, John and Pansy Zuk and her husband of 65 years Charles. She is survived by her children Cheryl and Tom, grandchildren Patrick, Meghan, Emily and Olivia. We are especially thankful to Patrick and partner Yang who lovingly lived with and cared for Mom over the last 10 years.
There was no service as she requested. Rest in Peace, Mom. We love you!
