It is with great sadness the family of Hung Ming Tam announces his sudden passing on Friday, May 5, 2023, at the age of 81.

Ming will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Tamina, his daughter Vivien, and the beloved family cat, Neko.  Ming was predeceased by his many brothers and sisters.

Ming was a man with many hobbies, too many that his family cannot follow.  A modern-day Renaissance man, he has left many unfinished projects throughout the home, hoping that his daughter will take on the mantle of completing some of them.  He, however, left no instructions, nor rhyme or reason as to what to do with this pile of wood that is just sitting there.  The family would like to thank Dr. Telio and the staff at Burnaby General Hospital for their care of Ming.

 In place of flowers, memorial donations be made to BC Cancer Foundation and Burnaby Hospital Foundation.

Service will be held at Pacific Heritage Cemetery – 4305 Halifax St., Burnaby on Saturday, July 22 at 11 am.
