It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Hank — known as Dad, Pa, Opa, Om Hank, and Mr K — at the age of 91½ years.

Hank was born in Hilversum, Holland, and lived through the hardships of the Second World War — experiences that shaped his strength, resilience, and work ethic throughout his life. He carried those qualities with him always.

A hardworking and independent man, he built a life rooted in determination and perseverance. Horses were a significant and cherished part of his life for many years, bringing him pride and enjoyment. He enjoyed 45 years of retirement — a milestone he often appreciated.

In his later years, he found companionship and happiness with his partner, Arlene, who brought warmth and joy to his life.

He leaves behind his three daughters, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
We are grateful for the long life he lived and the legacy of strength he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on
