BRAWN, Goldis (nee Christensen)

July 16, 1930 – August 29, 2021

Goldis peacefully slipped away from this world after a long and difficult battle with dementia. Mom, Grandma and friend to all who visited her open door; welcomed everyone with her vibrant smile, her infectious laugh, and a place at the table. Goldis loved a good house party and shared her home with many groups that she belonged to. Her passions, in particular, were painting, bridge, reading, thrifting, traveling and spending time at her cabin in Hatzic. She was the matriarch of the family and will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered and always be in our hearts. Survived by her children, Larry, Kirsten and Gayle; grandchildren, Richard, Melanie, Danny, Martin, Jessica, Christopher, Suzanne, Hayley, Elena and Matthew. She was also pre-deceased by her daughter Janice, husband Richard, her soulmate Hal and son David.
