Eric Malcolm NICHOLSON
January 1, 1927 - October 12, 2024
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Eric Nicholson.
Eric is predeceased by his wife, Annette. Also by his son, Monty, mother and father Malcolm and Fanny Nicholson (Carpenter). As well by his 3 brothers Ed, Jim, Henry, and 2 sisters, Ella and Jean.
Eric will be deeply missed by his daughters Sandra and Candace (Danny); his grandchildren Lena, Trent (Leora) and Trevor (Franki-Jean) as well as his great grandchildren Jared, Celeste, Maeve, Torsten and Ella.
Eric was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews who he thought of fondly and kept in touch regularly.
Eric was born and raised on the family farm near Belmont, Manitoba. As a young adult, Eric moved to Vancouver, BC where he met and married Annette.
They lived in Vancouver and Coquitlam then for several years in Kamloops, BC before moving to Tsawwassen in 1984, where Eric retired from CP Rail and they enjoyed their retirement years.
A celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Eric and I were friends for many years. I used to call him Nick Olson when ever I introduced him to anyone. He was the last one on the seniority list senior to me. I talked to him some time last summer. his name was on the Surrey C.P.R pensioners group. Rest in peace Eric.

My condolences to the Nicholson family re-Eric’s passing. He was a true gentleman and enjoyed working with him at the Roberts Bank Coal Terminal.
