It is with great sadness that Elizabeth Tyler passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2023 at 10pm. She leaves behind her devoted husband; Ken Tyler, married 50 years, two loving daughters; Ashlee Tyler (Drew), Kandice Tyler (Aaron), grandsons Rein, Dane, Kai, and childhood friend Kathy Beattie. Elizabeth was born in Brantford, Ontario and married there to her husband Ken Tyler in 1972. They moved to Quesnel, BC and she worked as a transcriptionist at the hospital, and later, an announcer at the local radio station. Ken and Liz eventually made their way to North Vancouver and Liz began working at Lions Gate Hospital. Elizabeth enjoyed being outdoors with Ken. She loved camping, hunting, but her specialty was fishing. Liz always said to treasure every moment you have and enjoy your family and friends. She was a very kind, passionate, and giving person. From her family, we would like to thank all of the caring doctors and nurses of Lions Gate Hospital and the staff of North Shore Hospice for making her comfortable. Thank you to Jonathan and Michelle for their kindness. Elizabeth was very grateful for everything they had done.

I met Liz Tyler 25-30 years ago ,she had come to the tannery with Ken. It was obvious from our first meeting Liz and Ken had a special relationship.
Over the years I had the pleasure to see just how special it was. They did everything together. How beautiful! Liz always had a positive outlook and sense of humour even after along day of packing firewood or other outdoor activities. After those long days Liz ,without hesitation and a smile would prepare dinner while Ken opened the wine ! Liz, you will be dearly miss!!!

Delb and I are so very grateful to have Ken and Liz as our acreage neighbours. We shared so many laughs together and I especially will always remember the excitement Liz expressed when I showed her pictures of my granddaughters. Liz was truly an angel….so kind, happy and gentle. Her laugh was contagious and ifectious. Liz was a very very special lady who was taken far to early. We pray that Ken and their beautiful family will cherish all the memories made and hold Liz forever, close to their hearts. Liz, we will see you later xoxo Jean & Delb

Deb and I spent many a hunting a fishing trip with with Liz and Ken. She was a very kind soul who valued our companionship. She was the friend that would do anything for you if you needed help of any kind. She helped us build our home in Logan Lake….helped us renovate in Adams lake.
