Douglas Gordon Dobbin

June 6. 1951 – January 22, 2019.

Amazing dad, husband, uncle, and friend;

loved by so many and never to be forgotten.

Doug was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Betty Dobbin and is survived by his beloved wife Martha, son Tyler (Mirella), and daughter Ally (Dylan) Mahood. He was a wonderful ‘Grumpa’ to Alina, Lilah, Shyloh, Lewis and will be fondly remembered as a legendary uncle by his many nieces and nephews.

Doug proudly served as a North Vancouver City Firefighter for 32 years, forever honoured to be part of the brotherhood.

There aren’t enough words to describe Doug; choose your own adjective. Remember him in your own way: have a drink, watch Jeopardy, do a crossword puzzle, play 18 holes, lie in the sun, eat pie and Yorkshire puddings, and cheer for the Rams.
