It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Debby, a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. Debby will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years Bob, brother Daryle (Lisa), sisters Trudy (Dave), Colleen (Andy), Shelly (Ted), Sandi, her Aunties Carol and Viola, her Uncle Don, step-daughter Shannon, grandson Jesse, many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and life-long friends.
Predeceased by her daughter Tammy, sister Brenda, nephew Cam, and her parents.
Debby was born on May 14, 1951 in Vancouver, British Columbia and spent much of her young adult life in the Campbell River area, where she made life-long friendships. She moved to Calgary to pursue her career as a hair dresser and after a couple of years moved back to BC and settled in Port Coquitlam. She worked a couple more years of hairdressing until she decided to become a nanny – she so loved the babies and young ones. With the coming of the 2000’s came a new career as a sales associate for the Sears Outlet store in Coquitlam where she made fast and lasting friendships with all she worked with.
Those who knew Debby will remember her as friendly to a fault, kind, passionate, and gave her love unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
You have left us with beautiful memories and a lifetime of love. Until we meet again my HoneyBun ❤
A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.

My beautiful sweet cousin, my heart broke the day I said goodbye to you. The years we spent together were amazing, all the laughs, you were always up to doing something. I’m so grateful for all the memories like the times we spent in Bella Coola sitting by the river with a vodka paralyzer those were such good times. Your life was such a gift to me and Joe. You lived your life with so much kindness and warmth and everyone around you could feel that. I miss you so much and will everyday until we meet again. My heart is so heavy but I know you are free of pain. Love you Debby ❤️❤️

Deborah, I remember how much fun we had at SEARS. Bantering back-and-forth, your laughter. You were such a good sport and always happy... you called us the “island girls”. I will always hold you in my heart. Love, Tossia.

Bob, I am so sorry you now have to go on through life without your best friend by your side. I didn’t get a chance to meet Debby but your photos always showed your love for one another and a life well lived together. She will be remembered in all the little things about her that are held in your mind, your home and your family members and those are the best memories. Sending hugs.

I only met your lovely Debby a few times but they were all memorable. She was so kind and caring. My son was little and she treated him like her own grandchild. She was such a lovely soul and I am honoured to have known her..❤️

I am so sorry for the loss of Debby, we never met in person, but we were friends and Facebook and she was one of my favorite people to chat with. She had invited my husband and I to come visit "someday". I can only imagine what it is like for her family because I miss her and I miss not being able to say hi and visit for a bit. But, I just keep telling myself that at least she isn't in pain. Still a day doesn't go by that I don't think about her and Bob. God bless you all Love from Michigan.

Bob, Al and I are so very sorry to hear this. Deb and I became fast friends at the condo. We loved our gab sessions on our walks. We also loved our lunches with the 4 of us over the past year. I will miss her smiling face and positive attitude. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love Al & Judy
