The family and friends of Darrin Wesley Sjoberg are mourning the sudden loss of our brother, uncle, step-dad, grandpa and friend on January 7th, 2024.
Darrin's life was not without struggle for many years, and in his recovery he was able to help so many others. He became the caring, kind, funny guy that we always knew was there, and he always worked hard. He was generous of spirit and wise beyond his years.
Over the last ten years Darrin became the happiest and healthiest he had been in his life. It was an honour to watch his true self emerge.
Darrin is pre-deceased by his dear mother Ruth Sjoberg and his father William Campbell. He is survived by his sisters Melany Campbell (Dale) and Katherine Sjoberg-White, his step-daughter Shanal Crane, his nieces and two grandsons, his step-father Melvin Sjoberg and a multitude of friends.
Darrin will be forever missed by so many.
A celebration of life will be held March 2nd, 2024 at 828 East Hastings street, Vancouver, BC.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Last Door Recovery Centre in New Westminster or the BC SPCA.
