Cathy was the most caring and selfless Mom, Nannie, sister, mother in law, and friend anyone could ask for. She passed away Aug 30th 2020 at Royal Columbian Hospital with her son and daughter by her side. She was motivated, determined and worked hard at being healthy. She had a very strong will to live and fought very hard. Life is not fair. She was taken from us much too early.

Cathy was undeniably the best Mom, (MIL), Nannie, and Sister. She was beautiful inside and out. She had without a shadow of a doubt the absolute HUGEST heart. Mom was extremely intelligent, selfless, kind, and sensitive. She loved cards, she won practically every game she played. She had an amazing sense of humour and the MOST infectious laugh!!!! Oh man, we will sure miss that laugh. Everyone loved Cathy. She loved her kids and grandchildren more than life itself. Her whole life revolved around them. She loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She loved spending her time at her sister and BIL’s farm. She got her two granddaughters hooked on horses. Mom loved to travel. She had so many more trips she wanted to do in her semi retirement. We all loved and wanted to travel with her. She loved cruises and getting a good deal! Coupon Cathy was not cheap at all, she was very SMART with money.

The heartbreak is unbearable, she will be greatly missed by so many.

Mom, Nannie we will never stop loving and missing you. We talk about u every day and will remember and appreciate u forever and ever. We were so lucky to be extremely close and will treasure our many fantastic memories.

Cathy is survived by her children Ryan Wallace, (Julie Wallace), Nicole Widmer, (Michael Widmer) and her 3 beloved grandkids. Nicklas, Lexi and Mia. Her Mother, Jackie Wallace, whom Cathy devoted her heart and soul to keeping happy and healthy. Her sisters, Leslie Wallace, and Jackie Gosse and brothers Daniel Wallace, Randy, and Terry Hennig, her best friend of >50 years Deane Mckamey along with many other amazing long time girlfriends.

A celebration of life will be planned for next spring. We are hopefully we will be able to welcome every person that would like to come with less Covid restrictions.
