It is with deep sadness that we, the family of Bloice Raymond Enman of Surrey, BC, formerly of Prince Edward Island, announce his passing on March 20, 2023 at Melville Hospice. Born May 18, 1952 in Enmore, PEI, he was the son of the late Lena and Ray Wright.

Ray had many interests in life, he worked in the BC logging industry for a time, but his real love was working with his hands doing mechanical work, restoring old cars and bringing them back to their original beauty. During his retirement he took pleasure fixing ride on mowers and JD Tractors. Ray was a humble man, always willing to lend a hand. His door was open to anyone.

Ray is survived by the love of his life, Geraldine (Gerri) Campbell and his beloved son, Steven. He is survived by his sister Connie Given (Doug) of Ontario, Pauline Enman in PEI, John Wright (Pia) of BC, Francis Wright of PEI, Rick Wright (Cheryl) of PEI, and his sister Arlene.

Ray is predeceased by his beloved son Raymond, his brother Ronnie Enman and his sister Myra Harvey. His also predeceased by nieces, nephews, uncle, cousins and grandparents.

Following his wishes, his cremation has taken place at A Simple Cremation in Maple Ridge, BC. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations to be made at Melville Hospice in White Rock, BC, or a charity of choice.

A special thank you to the BC Cancer Society, volunteer cancer drivers, family doctor of many years, Dr. Chemerika, Dr. Mark Turner, Peace Arch Hospital, Surrey Fire Department and BC Ambulance. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses who showed their care and compassion, making his journey easier.

A special thank you to family and friends, too many to mention, who supported us on this journey. Much appreciation to Jake and Janis.

In the words of Hardy’s song “Give Heaven some Hell”.

Dear Brother:
Bloice your journey in life has been a long road with many bends and many turns.
Your young life as a child had many sad trials and tribulations.
You became a better man when you married your wife Gerri and became a father yourself
Your later years were a time of faith and kindness to all.
I am proud of you brother and I love you.
Now you can rest high on that mountain.
Love your sister......Pauline
