Write a TributeIt is with great sadness we announce that Betty Rae Skelley (Betty Boop) passed away peacefully on Feb 6, 2025, after a brief illness.
Betty was predeceased by her daughter Kathie on January 15, 2025 and is lovingly survived by her 2 sons, John, Patrick (Karen), her sisters Margaret (Pete) and Joanne, various nieces, and nephews, her 4 grandchildren Angel (Sam) and Michelle, Allisha, and Darrin (Raj) and her 3 great-grandchildren Jasper, Xzavier, and Max.
Betty will be lovingly remembered for her crocheting, her green thumb, sitting on her porch with the sun on her face – warming up waiting for munchkin to go to school and doing the meat draws at her club.
There will be a viewing at the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel & Crematorium at 11969 216th St. Maple Ridge on Friday Feb 14 at 4:00pm
A celebration of life will be held at her “Club” – ANAVETS 379 at 22326 North Avenue, Maple Ridge BC on Sunday March 2 at 1pm.

Mom today was the hardest day of my life. Seeing you laying there and nothing I could do to help you. But I will always remember the good times christmas dinners mothers days your birthdays. Chats we use to have. The hugs we had. After your run with cancer that you kicked it's ass. I always made sure I told you how much I loved you. And I will always love you.when ever I buy flowers I will be thinking of you.
