It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts to announce the passing of Bette-Jane (BJ) Valerie Lanchick, Born August 20, 1942 and Passed September 15, 2024.
BJ passed peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at McKenney Creek Hospice in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
BJ is predeceased by her loving husband Mikeal Lanchick and survived by her 4 Daughters, Tammy (Mike), Selena, Tanya (Jeff) and Michelle. BJ is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
BJ will always be loved and remembered for her love of family and many many friends. Her love for animals, gardening, sewing, knitting, shopping and quilting.
BJ's contagious laughter will be truly missed and always having the amazing ability to give the perfect advice and make people smile even in the worst of times.
The Celebration of Life will be announced in the Spring of 2025.

She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space, not people......not even death.

Your mom was such a lovely and happy soul. She always had a smile on her face.
Our parents were great friends and I'm glad that I had a chance to have a little visit with BJ after my dad's passing last year.

Dearest BJ
We will deeply miss you I will cherish our chats we had forever in my heart and mind .We all were very blessed with your laughter and your wits will cherish our times sitting in our back yard with you and our family soaking up the good times with the great grandchildren , you laughed so hard the day of the slip and slide and us adults doing it with the kids and you saying you guys are gonna be sore and man were we ever , I know you will be up there with your love watching over us and telling lots of stories of the fun you had with us all and how much love we had for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
