Anneliese Rodler passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 23rd, 2023, at the age of 96.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, daughter, and son-in-law. 

In 1952, Anneliese arrived in Canada from Germany, settled, and raised her family in Richmond, BC.  She was an extremely accomplished seamstress, enjoyed countless kilometers of walking along the dykes in Richmond, gardening, cooking, baking and being there for all of us.

Anneliese was a steadfast, loving, and devoted mother who gave everything to her children.  She was beautiful, tireless, disciplined … and she was our rock, our fire, and our light.  Mom, you will be hugely missed and forever loved!!!

At Anneliese’s request, no service will be held.
