It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alexander (Alex) Bruce Hart at Melville Hospice Home. Alex was born on January 6, 1944 and went to his heavenly home on January 8, 2023.
Beloved husband and best friend of Pansy Hart (nee Burt) for 58 years.
Loving father of Kim (Rick) Pelletier, Daren (Lisa) Hart, Jeff (Colleen) Hart, Shannon (Wendell) Archer and Dawn Lloyd Crow (Paul)
He was the proud grandfather to Joshua Hart, Laura (Kyle) Cleveland, Ashley Hart (Riley Duckworth) Matthew Pelletier (Aila Yu), Chelsey Hart, Cassandra (Travis) Wiggs, Nicholas Julie (Ethan Arksey), Aaron Pelletier, Meaghan Hart (Juan Almada), Stephanie (Blake) Phillips and Kylie Hart. Loving great grandfather to Landon and David.
Dear brother of Gordon Hart and cherished brother-in-law to Ivy Green, Roger (Sandy) Burt, Gordon Burt, Dale (Peggy) Burt, Peggy Miller (Danny), Loretta Burt, Diane (Dan) Moser, Richard Burt (Lee) and Roxanne (Frank) Morrone.
Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Mable Hart, his father-in-law Richard Burt, mother-in-law Ruby Burt, his sister-in-laws Norma Hart, Vivian Burt, brother-in-laws Ewen Rice, Cluny Green, Andy Charest and Gene Roehr.
Fondly remembered and missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many good friends.
Thank you to all the Doctors and nurses at Melville Hospice Home who cared for all his needs.
A special celebration will follow to honour Alex’s life at Surrey Pentecostal Assembly on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Alex’s memory can be made to the missions department of the Surrey Pentecostal Assembly.

It's with a heavy heart I write this and my deepest condolences go out to everyone. It's bitter sweet as I know he is no longer suffering I wish I was able to get to know him better. In the brief time I was fortunate enough to know this great man it was simply not enough time. Rest easy now Alex and hopefully one day we will see each other again and have an eternity to get to know each other better.

My Condolences goes Pansy and the extended hart family. In the passing of Alex.
Alex Pansy was amazing friend to me and my late husband when they live in Ontario for many years until they moved to BC to be close to their love ones. But we remain friends . Alex was amazing man always have hug and and smile . I used love to hang out at Tim Horton for coffee. Rest in peace Alex you crown awaits you !
