It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Adrian Middel, an amazing Father, Opa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. After a very short but courageous battle with cancer, Adrian passed away peacefully into the arms of his Heavenly Father on March 13th, 2023. 

Adrian leaves behind daughters Kiersten (James) and Danika (Jared) and was a proud Opa to Kymberley (Kevin), Ryleigh, Kaeden, Dominic, Chayce, Avery, Jordyn and Leighton.  Adrian is survived by his brother Ron Middel (Mary), as well as sisters Betty Tolsma, Frances Kuntz (Wayne) and Janna Middel.  He is predeceased by his parents, Reinder and Janna (Nanninga) Middel and brothers John, Evert, Albert and Jacob Middel, as well as sister Ann Kolkman.  He will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Adrian’s family was everything to him.  He loved gathering often, Easter, Christmas and Thanksgiving in particular were his favorites. He enjoyed cooking for everyone and his turkey dinners were legendary!  We carry with us that spirit of loving and living well, remembering his wish for each of us to continue on living. 

We would especially like to thank all the staff at  McKenney Creek Hospice for the incredible care and compassion they showed Adrian and his family during Adrian’s final days.
