With sad hearts, we announce that Ted Petryshen passed away on May 5, 2023, his 83rd birthday.

Ted is survived by his wife Noreen, sister Rose, daughters Heather and Tracey, son-in-law Alex, grandchildren Katrina and Nathaniel, and grand-dogs Penny, Jedi and Koda.

Ted is pre-deceased by his parents John and Helen, and his 6 brothers, Nick, Adam, Edward, Johnny, Albert and Joe.

We are sad that you had to leave us but we are comforted knowing you are at peace and no longer suffering. We are so relieved that you died peacefully with no pain. You were so strong and brave fighting cancer for 39 years. You never complained and didn't want anyone to go out of their way for you, right up to the end.

You were the kindest and most loving man we know. You always looked out for your family and others, and freely gave your time and skills to build, repair, make, and cook things for your family, friends, and community to enjoy. Your legacy of kindness will live on in everyone who knew you, and thousands of people who didn't know you. We will never be able to thank you enough for your hard work and sacrifices so that we had opportunities that you never had.

You will be forever in our hearts and thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for sending the white dove and white pigeon as you promised to let us know you made it safely to Heaven.
