Gerry left us on October 24 from a massive stroke with his wife, Lois at his side.

Gerry was a loving, generous man with a respected sense of humour and a sparkle in his lovely blue eyes. He was a talented man who excelled in soccer as a young man, who enjoyed years of golf and playing guitar and singing with friends. He enjoyed many adventures travelling the world with his Lois. They were snowbirds in Palm Springs for 15 years which was their second home during the winter months.

He will be missed by his family and many friends but especially by his wife of 36 years, leaving behind his sisters Donna Good and Katie Stone and his daughters Leah Campbell and Dawn Lowe to remember the good times.

If you wish, please give a donation, in his name, to Crossroads Hospice.

I just learned this very sad news. Gerry has always been a wonderful father in law and grand father. I send you much love. Gerry will always be with us. I am sure he is happy looking after us. And he will get his ice cream. Kisses and hugs.

We first met Gerry in 2006 when he stared in the role of Mordcha, the innkeeper of Footlight Theatre Company's production of Fiddler on the Roof. We soon struck up a lasting relationship when we came to realize that we were members of the same golf club, Pitt Meadows. The four of us enjoyed many Sunday golf games preceded by our ritual of getting together for a social breakfast. The passing of Gerry will forever leave an empty chair at our table.

Our family greaves the loss of a man who brought such joy to my sister, Lois. His quick wit, huge smile and those beautiful blue eyes will be dearly missed. We are forever grateful that the universe brought these two souls together and are comforted in the knowledge that Gerry lives on in our hearts. Be at peace best brother in law, we will take over loving your Lois for you.
