It is with a profound sense of loss that we share the passing of Noney, beloved wife, mom, nana, sister, auntie and friend.  After decades of struggling with cancer, Noney’s resilience gave out and she passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on January 17th with her loving husband and family by her side.  She is survived by Art, her husband of almost 57 years; children: Cathleen (Brad), Rick (Tricia), and Randy (Marcy); grandchildren: Natasha, Calvin (Brianna), Caleb, Nolan (Kaylie), Jordana and Sarah.  To us all she was the embodiment of grace, and our hearts are full of gratitude for her love and sacrifice.

Noney was a joyful and encouraging presence wherever she went.  How she lived out her Christian faith was as beautiful as what she believed.  Noney found immense fulfillment in investing in her children and grandchildren.  She also found pleasure and fellowship in her neighbourhood bridge groups.  A memorial celebration will be held at North Shore Alliance Church on Saturday, January 27th at 10:30 am.  Thank-you to all the medical professionals who provided care to Noney and her family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in Noney’s memory.
