In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Crystal Zschogner on August 4, 2024, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the young age of 47, with her loving husband by her side.

Crystal was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 7, 1977.  After briefly living in Calgary, Alberta in her late twenties, she always dreamed of making her way back out West. In 2017, her wish came true, and she settled in Hope, British Columbia. Crystal enjoyed spending her time playing scrabble with anyone who was willing to lose, camping and exploring B.C with her fur baby Isis, and in her later years, she picked up the hobby of crafting.

Crystal is predeceased by her mother Glenda Brown (nee Martin) and her father Robert Wilson. She is survived by her best friend, soulmate, and husband of 24 years, Frank Zschogner. Dearest mama to her children James (Ryan), Hope (Andrew), and Lyam (Cassandra). Proudest Gma to her grandchildren Greysen, Bentley, and Violet. Her memory will forever be cherished by her brothers Robbie and Adam, the Martin family; Wayne, Wanda, Guy (Janis), Ray, Jimmy and all her cousins, the Zschogner family; Margaret (Al), Hanna (Tony), Mark (Mary), Horst, Randy (Meghan) and all her nieces and nephews, the extended Wilson and Daniel families, and all her beloved friends.

In keeping with Crystal’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Crystal’s name to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
